جوجو مویز (Jojo Moyes) کتاب پس از تو (After You) را در ادامه‌ی رمان پرفروش منِ پیش از تو به رشته‌ی تحریر درآورد. ویل ترینور و لوئیزا کلارک، شخصیت‌های اصلی رمان عاشقانه‌ی منِ پیش از تو بودند. ویل که موتورسوار و مدیر اجرایی بود، در یک حادثه از گردن به پایین فلج شده بود. او برای کارهای روزمره‌اش نیاز به یک پرستار تمام‌وقت داشت. لوئیزا کلارک به‌عنوان پرستار وارد خانه‌ی ویل شد و کم‌کم جای خود را در دل این مرد تلخ باز کرد. اما ویل با وجود عشق لوئیزا هم نتوانست از ناتوانی حرکتی‌اش چشم‌پوشی کند، پس از لوئیزا خواست تا او را به سازمانی در سوئد ببرد که به خودکشی خودخواسته (اتانازی) کمک می‌کند.
